November 16, 2012 baseline (post-Hurricane Sandy, pre-restoration) lidar-derived beach and dune morphology data that includes the Rockaway Peninsula and Long Beach Barrier Island, New York coastlines. This alongshore extent encompasses NFWF restoration project NPS-1A (Mitigate Impacts from Artificial Groin to Jacob Riis Beach to Restore Habitats and Recreation Resources) as well as Breezy Point, Fort Tilden, and Jacob Riis Park of the National Park Service (NPS) Jamaica Bay Unit, Gateway National Recreation Area.
