Area of Influence Data

This dataset includes mapping data to track the socio-economic metrics associated with a number of projects funded through the Hurricane Sandy Coastal Resiliency Program. Project locations are found in Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, and New York. Data was collected from 2017 to 2020. The dataset contains the raster sets of each modeled site for the final output grid for the Area of Influence, which is determined only after calculating from pre/post clipping raster sets. The Area of Influence is the area flooded behind the project up to the point that a wave would have been fully attenuated to zero height. The data was collected by Abt Associates in November 2020.
