Conduct a site assessment of the Elk River, consult with landowners and regulatory partners to cooperatively develop the project elements, and prepare conceptual designs in collaboration with landowners and agency scientists. Project will create engineering designs that would rehabilitate 6.1 miles of mainstem salmonid habitat, tens of acres of riparian habitat, rehabilitate four tributary confluences, and protect approximately 15 homes and four bridges from nuisance flooding.
