Grant 74780 (Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana)

Create approximately 30 acres of tidal salt marsh along Bayou Grande Cheniere in the influence area of the Mid-Barataria Sediment Diversion through hydraulically dredging sediment from the Mississippi River. Project will be adjacent to and under the same construction as 342 acres of marsh and ridge restoration funded by NRDA and help protect coastal communities.
