Grant 75663 (Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners)

Create a tidal wetland complex that includes 7.8 acres of red mangroves, 1.7 acres of oyster reef, 26.8 acres of seagrass recruitment area, and 0.2 acres American Oystercatcher nesting berms in the Lake Worth Lagoon estuarine system. Project will increase the amount of highly productive fish and wildlife habitat, improve water quality, and provide storm protection for the eroding shoreline along a critical hurricane evacuation route.
