Grant 84704 (New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation)

Establish a living shoreline with wave attenuation structures to build long-term shoreline resilience, restore a variety of wildlife habitats, and protect surrounding residential communities from climate change impacts at Bayswater Point State Park. Project will create 2,081 linear feet of living shoreline, over 4 acres of plantings, restore 5.1 acres of tidal marsh habitat via invasive species management, and expand wetland habitat.
