Golden Meadow Cajun Coral - Summer
This resource provides monitoring data on a feature called Cajun Coral, which is deployed as a living shoreline module that may be colonized by oysters and other sessile organisms. The modules were placed on the marsh edge to act as shoreline protection. This site was located at Ducks Unlimited Golden Meadow Marsh Creation project in Lafourche Parish, LA. Because the Cajun Coral structures were submerged below the water line, present organisms were confirmed by tactile feel.
