This resource provides monitoring data on a feature called oyster stakes, which is deployed as a living shoreline column that may be colonized by oysters and other sessile organisms. The stakes were placed on the earthen terrace edge to act as shoreline protection. This site was located at Ducks Unlimited Island Road Terracing project in Lafourche Parish, LA. No oysters were identified on the Oyster Stakes during this survey.
