Wave Data

Wave data collected by pressor sensors deployed on either side of the oyster reefs (offshore and nearshore, O and N) at Sections 4 and 7 of the marsh to quantify change is wave heights as waves propagate towards the marsh. The wave gauges were attached to metal grates and secured flush with the bay bottom using stakes. Instruments were deployed for a minimum of 3 weeks to capture a range of typical and storm conditions. Hs is significant wave height and Tm and Tp are mean and peak wave period.
